TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SAC Bin app has been developed by Albion Environmental Ltd in partnership with South Ayrshire Council. It has been designed to provide :
* Easy access to your bin calendar
* Alerts which can be set to remind you of each bin collection service
* Easy links to information relating to the waste service delivered by South Ayrshire Council
* Search list to allow you to search for common waste types and receive guidance to for which bin waste should be placed
* Links to external websites providing information on recycling and waste minimisation
The system works by linking your postcode to the relevant collection schedule - no personal information is saved within the system.
South Ayrshire Council will have access to aggregated data to show which areas are using the app well.
Logging the registered households/postcodes allows South Ayrshire Council to target communications at specific postcode areas - for example if a vehicle is broken down and a collection is delayed this can be communicated to users.
No additional personal individual information on users is collected.
South Ayrshire Council and Albion Environmental Ltd are not responsible for content on external sites linked from the app. The inclusion of any such links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.
South Ayrshire Council and Albion Environmental Ltd make every effort to ensure the app is running. However, should the service not be available, we accept no liability due to circumstances and issues beyond our control.
